Proactive fuel supply for Tet holiday

Reporting on the status of ensuring supply for the Lunar New Year (Tet) - the Year of the Snake 2025, Director General of Petrolimex Dao Nam Hai stated that the Group proactively managed sourcing early and from afar. By the end of 2024, the Group had organised negotiations for long-term purchase contracts for 2025 with both domestic and foreign suppliers. As of now, the total volume of goods Petrolimex has signed long-term contracts for in 2025 is approximately 7.37 million cubic meters/tons, equivalent to 70 per cent of the Group's domestic sales volume in 2024.

"Specifically, to serve the needs during the Tet holiday 2025, from December 2024 to February 2025, the Group has imported approximately 2.9 million cubic meters/tonnes of gasoline and oil, an increase of approximately 6 per cent compared to the same period last year and 7 per cent compared to the average for the entire year 2024. Petrolimex ensures inventory reserves and fully meets the demand for gasoline and oil consumption within its distribution system before, during, and after the Lunar New Year," affirmed Director General Dao Nam Hai.
